NOTE: The Municipality of Copenhagen provides a monthly subsidy to parents in private childcare. In 2026, the subsidy is DKK 8,455 per month.

The subsidy is added to the co-payment and gives the total monthly price for a place in the scheme.

Total price per month is therefore 12,250 DKK.

There are no hidden costs, everything is included: food, diapers, daily activities, etc.

 

Subsidies are typically received at the end of the month.​
